AS Roma are growing increasingly concerned over new contract talks with Daniele de Rossi.

Pressure from Manchester City has seen De Rossi demand a huge pay-rise to re-sign with Roma, says Il Romanista.

The difference between the two parties is all but insurmountable and time is ticking on De Rossi being able to commit to a pre-contract with City from January 1.
