AS Roma have announced a partnership with Moovit, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The transit app, which allows users to programme travel itineraries by displaying transport links in real time relative to location, will serve as the Serie A outfit's 'official transit partner'.

Moovit will provide specific information to Roma fans regarding the fastest and easiest ways to reach the team's Stadio Olimpico home ground by public transport, as well as places of interest in Rome for tourists.

The app will also identify the location of AS Roma stores in the Italian capital for fans to visit.

"The partnership agreement signed with Moovit, the best app for public transport in the world, aims to ensure our fans reach the stadium efficiently, allowing them to find the best route to go to AS Roma matches in Italy and abroad, by public transport," said Luca Danovaro, chief marketing officer at AS Roma.

"This agreement, which joins the others recently activated by the club, is part of our plan that sees among its main objectives that of improving the experience of our fans on the day of the match."
