Roma defender Chris Smalling was delighted scoring in victory over Lecce.

Smalling helped the Giallorossi to a 2-1 win.

He said, "We are happy for the win. We know we can play better, but the three points were too important today.

"We have created many chances, but the goals have to come more frequently.

"We all have to recover and work harder."
