Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has jumped to the defence of underfire president Rosella Sensi.

The barracking of Sensi during their draw with Chievo infuriated Spalletti, who said afterwards: "There has been a lot of ungenerous treatment of Sensi."

Asked about his own future, Spalletti added: "Now, we must talk about the improvements that are needed. I won't waste my breath on talking about anything else."
