Roma coach Ranieri calls on players to believe in themselves

Roma coach Claudio Ranieri has called on his players to believe in themselves.

The Giallorossi are unbeaten in 17 games.

Ranieri said: "Two tough months await us. I want to see what we manage to do. We'll try to keep up this pace, even if it will not be easy.

"The team had a traumatic start to the season. There was little in the way of enthusiasm. With the change of Coach we had to start again from the beginning. Now we are fighting. The League table tells the truth.

"We always need to believe in ourselves just like Inter show in their capacity to come back in games that look impossible, for example in the Champions League.

"When I arrived here, I said to the team: 'Forget good football, I want to see you fight until the end.' When a team fights and comes back you don't have to talk about luck. The results arrive from the determination and the conviction of the players.

"We have to get Toni, Totti and Vucinic back. Toni has always made us see that he is capable. He has come here very motivated. I hope to be able to assemble a partnership with Totti soon. Everyone has to be feeling well to give the team a hand."
