AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho was tightlipped on Saturday about interest in Leonardo Bonucci.
The former Juventus captain is being linked with a January move to Roma after six months in Germany with Mainz.
Mourinho said: "I don't talk about the market. We'll talk about it in January, we still have one game before that.
"When we talk about the market we must always start from the assumption that Roma are experiencing a situation of great difficulty with Financial Fair Play. We have two players off the list in the Europa League and we have the risk of signing someone and being left with three players off the UEFA list. Not an easy situation.
"If you ask me what I would like, I'll tell you a top defender of the future, but it won't go like this. It's not a drama. We will continue to work."
