Roma coach Mourinho hits out at his ex-Chelsea star Pedro: He's a swimmer!

Roma coach Jose Mourinho hit out at his former Chelsea player Pedro after yesterday's 0-0 draw with Lazio.

Mourinho won titles with Pedro as Chelsea manager, but was furious with the Spaniard at the Olimpico.

After the stalemate, the Roma coach snapped: "In Karsdorp I said never to jump on Marusic, otherwise Mancini would have been left alone against Pedro, who is a fantastic player but he could swim.

"Pedro dives into the pool in a fantastic way."

Mourinho also said: "We are three points away from fourth and for me the championship started in the fourth match. If the championship had started in the fourth, we would be in the Champions League zone.

"We had a disastrous match against Genoa and then we were in line with our potential, damaged by the absence of Smalling and with Sanches on half serve. We can improve and we hope that those who have a certain type of medical history like Sanches will get to a better condition."
