Roma coach Mourinho: For some reason Feyenoord are almost Dutch champions

Roma coach Jose Mourinho says tonight's Europa League quarterfinal against Feyenoord has nothing to do with last season.

The clash is a repeat of last year's Europa Conference League final.

Mourinho said: "I don't like talking about last year, football is fast. I forget the past, the focus is always on the future. But they don't seem to be able to forget that game, but in my experience they made mistakes.

"I lost many games, if I stay there every time, I'm in trouble. It's always better to look to the future, I forgot last year. In the last few days, after the match in Turin, the focus went to Feyenoord. For some reason, they're almost Dutch champions They are a strong team."

"Let's not forget that when there are so many close matches we struggle. We are not a team with the ability to play multiple competitions without problems. But we are coming from two victories in the league, 6 important points. We will miss Solbakken, he cannot play in Europe and he is injured, but his characteristics are important."
