Roma coach Mourinho 'calmly' discusses Dybala, Renato arrivals

Roma coach Jose Mourinho insists they lack the spending power to compete at the top end of the market.

Mourinho says they're lucky to have Paulo Dybala, who arrived last year from Juventus.

"Last year we took Dybala because many had doubts about his physical condition," said Mourinho.

"If we go to a club to buy a player who has had a great season, we can't. We have to adapt to the risks we have. People have to understand this.

"Is it a surprise that Renato (Sanches) can't play? No, just look at his history. But if Renato hadn't had so many injuries he would have been a regular at PSG and wouldn't have come to Roma.

"We have become experts working with players with potential, to give them stability to return to the level they had. This is our reality, you have to be calm with low expectations. Maybe it will be a surprise for you to see me calm."
