AS Roma sporting chief Tiago Pinto is moving for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
The veteran is off contract in June and Pinto is keen to bring the veteran to Italy.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Pinto met with Giroud's agents this week, with the summit held on April 1.
Pinto is also in the market for a new midfielder and AZ Alkmaar's Teun Koopmeiners is a target.
Like Giroud, Pinto met with Koopmeiners' agents in recent days.
