AS Roma managing director Claudio Fenucci was delighted to see Erik Lamela score on his debut last weekend.

Big things are expected at Roma from the young Argentine.

"We are very happy, but we already knew the value of the player and we've made a sacrifice to bring him to Rome, but you have to give him time," said Fenucci.

"But his performance is reassuring."

On Daniele de Rossi's contract talks, Fenucci added: "We began in the summer. There's some new demands, but we want to find a solution."
