The 20 year-old is regarded as the best young talent to emerge from Greece in modern times.
Roma management see Ninis as a potential long-term successor to Rodrigo Taddei and know they can sign him for €10 million courtesy of his current buyout clause.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is also a big fan and sees Ninis as potential cover for Paul Scholes.
