Roma captain Totti rules out coaching

Francesco Totti has no idea what he'll do when he hangs up the boots at AS Roma.

Totti retired from the Italy squad after the World Cup in 2006, but is still going strong in Serie A.

He said: "I have never considered what I'll do when I retire. I don't even dream of it at night. I still feel like a football player.

"The day I realise I'm not myself anymore and can no longer do on the pitch what I can do now, then I'll be the first to throw in the towel.

"I don't want to end up on the bench, the kind of person who plays 10 games per season. As soon as I feel that I am no longer Totti, I'll step aside from everything.

"Of course, I hope that doesn't happen for a long time."
