AS Roma boss Rudi Garcia has jumped to the defence of AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli clashed with Serie A pundits after defeat to Roma on Friday.

Garcia said: "He was very courageous to come on television and respond to criticism, above all because those who play know it's tough to talk after a defeat. I think he was courageous."
