Roma captain Francesco Totti has had successful minor surgery on his knee.

Totti will start his rehabilitation period tomorrow morning at the Trigoria training camp and is expected to be back in less than 30 days.

"Francesco will return home from Villa Stuart tonight. He had a lesion to his meniscus which was partially removed," said his personal trainer Vito Scala.

"The operation lasted only eight minutes. Totti will do his best to be back on the pitch as soon as possible."
