Everton youngster Jack Rodwell fancies a move to Manchester United.
The Daily Mail says United are preparing a £15million bid for the versatile 19-year-old, while Manchester City have also been linked with a move for Rodwell.
It's understood a switch to Old Trafford is Rodwell's preferred choice should he leave Goodison Park.
Rodwell, who can play in central midfield or at centre back, came through Everton's youth set-up and has a strong affiliation with the club.
However, he is unwilling to let emotional attachments stand in the way of a move that he feels would progress his career.
