Rodriguez hits brace as Burnley defeat Peterborough in FA Cup

Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez scored twice against Peterborough as they cruised into the FA Cup fourth round.

He tapped in from close range to open the scoring before Erik Pieters made it two with a 25-yard half-volley.

Jeff Hendrick scored Burnley's third inside 23 minutes with the help of a deflection, before Ivan Toney pulled a goal back for Posh before half-time.

Rodriguez scored again after the break and Ricky Jade-Jones added a second for Peterborough late on.

Burnley's experience still shone against Darren Ferguson's team, as they ran out 4-2 winners.
