Robinson urges Leeds go for Celtic boss Postecoglou

Leeds United hero Paul Robinson wants Ange Postecoglou to become their next coach.

The Celtic boss is in high demand, as he has been impressing in the Scottish Premiership.

The Celtic gaffer is now the bookies' favorite to take on the Leeds job.

Per The Sun, Robinson said: “I know there has been talk of Carlos Corberan at West Brom, but I personally would love to see Postecoglou come down from Celtic.

“They have to get somebody who hits the ground running.

“People talk about someone who knows the league inside out and know the players.

“But for me it has to be a man-manager."

Robinson added: “I think it would be a very difficult time to get Postecoglou obviously, as it's looking like they're going to win the league again and another trophy for him up there.

“But I think of his man-management skills and the way he's adapted himself to the Scottish Premier League and the trophies he's won.

“He's got Harry Kewell as his assistant up there, so there is a link already.

“I think it's only going to be a matter of time before he does come to the Premier League and I'd love to see Leeds push the boat out and go and get him now."
