Andy Robertson wasn't surprised by Liverpool's intense pressing against Villarreal in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Wednesday.
Despite their intense schedule, the Reds dominated Villarreal to secure a deserved 2-0 victory at Anfield.
And Robertson said the players had no problems lifting for a Champions League semi-final.
Asked about the pressure, Robertson said: "You have to, it's the semi-final of the Champions League – if you can't run about for 90 minutes in this kind of game then when will you?
"Our intensity has been really high the last couple of games, we've had a real hectic schedule but we're enjoying it and I think you saw that today.
"There's still a lot of work to do in this tie but we're happy with our work tonight."
