Andrew Robertson hailed Liverpool's fans for their stunning 4-3 win over Manchester City.

The Scotland international defender was delighted with the support he received on Sunday afternoon.

"It was unbelievable," Robertson told the club's official TV station.

"I'd won a couple of tackles and The Kop were singing my name, it gives you goosebumps.

"I can't thank the fans enough for their support since day one. That is the best [atmosphere] I have played in.

"The last two goals were sloppy on our part, but it was all about the three points today, whether it was 4-1 or 4-3 - we will look at it when it's all calmed down and look at the analysis.

"We know on our day we can compete with anyone, and that's what we will aim to do every week."
