Roberto D'Aversa has been confirmed new coach of Parma.
D'Aversa returns after the sacking of Fabio Liverani on Thursday.
D'Aversa, who first took over in December 2016 and lifted Parma from Serie C to the top tier, left the club last summer due to different views on how to progress.
A club statement confirmed: “Parma Calcio 1913 are delighted to announce that Roberto D'Aversa is returning to the role of First-Team Coach.
“His staff will consist of Andrea Tarozzi (assistant coach), Alberto Bartoli (goalkeeper coach), Luca Morellini and Danilo Massi (fitness coaches), Paolo Giordani (injury recovery coach, and Marco Piccioni and Simone Greco (match analysts)."
