Wolves celebrity fan Robert Plant hopes Marcus Bent can offer his club something this season.

Bent has joined Wolves on-loan from Birmingham City.

Rock legend Plant told Absolute Radio: “I mean, the thing is I’ve only seen him play against Notts County in the League Cup a couple of weeks ago, alongside Sylvan Ebanks Blake, [chants]. I mean, I left at half
time, I got jet lag, it was 0-0, and I ran home in the dark.

"He had good running, he was moving into good spaces. He didn’t get a lot of service in the first half against Notts County, and we won 4-2 after I’d gone.”
