Former Liverpool and Tottenham striker Robbie Keane is being linked with Preston North End.

Preston are among the clubs to have registered an interest in Keane, says The Sun.

The 36-year-old left the Los Angeles Galaxy in November after five years playing in Major League Soccer.

Keane told PA Sport: “I still feel sharp – I look after myself very well – and I've certainly got a lot of goals left in me.

"I still feel as hungry as ever."
