Rizespor are chasing Aston Villa defender Philippe Senderos.

The Birmingham Mail says Senderos is wanted by Turkish side Rizespor.

The Swiss international appears to have no future in the Midlands and has been told he can find a new club before the end of the transfer window.

Senderos suffered with a calf injury last season and has never played a minute of competitive action under boss Tim Sherwood.
