River Plate midfielder Exequiel Palacios is eager to delay his move to Real Madrid.

Having just won the Copa Libertadores in fine style, the youngster is in no rush to move to Europe.

"My idea is to stay at River a little longer, enjoy this moment and take advantage of everything that comes along," he said.

"I'm very happy and enjoying where I am.

"Leaving aside what was just achieved, we always need to compete for more here."
