River Plate chief Leonel Gancedo admits they're interested in Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso.

The Argentine is about to come off contract at Inter.

"We'll see what we can do with Cambiasso," Gancedo told calciomercato.it.

"We know that it's going to be very difficult to sign him though.

"It would be amazing to see Esteban in this team, but we'll have to see."
