Barcelona hero Rivaldo insists Paul Pogba should be avoided by his old club.

Barca are eyeing a move for the Manchester United midfielder, with the likes of director Ariedo Braida and even president Josep Maria Bartomeu discussing the Frenchman.

But Rivaldo says Pogba isn't the player for Barca.

He told Sport: "Paul Pogba is a very good player. But I do not think FC Barcelona needs to recruit him now. The club has signed two excellent players with Arturo Vidal and Arthur.

"I think they have a good team to start the coming season."
