John Arne Riise would love to be given another chance at Fulham now that Martin Jol is now longer the manager.
The Norwegian left-back has been frozen out of the Cottagers first team by then Dutchman recently but his sacking on the weekend, Riise feels he has something to offer to new boss Rene Meulensteen.
"It will be an exciting week," he told ITV2 ahead of Wednesday's clash with home clash with Tottenham.
"We have struggled defensively in the last few matches, now I will give everything in training as usual and hope to get more confidence.
"I feel that I am in good shape and I am ready in case the new manager wants me to play."
