Riise admits he could quit Fulham

John Arne Riise is preparing to leave Fulham in January.

The Norwegian left-back joined the club from Roma in 2011, and was a regular starter in the previous two seasons, but has only appeared twice in the league this term.

"I speak to the gaffer all of the time. We both know how I'm thinking. I'm obviously not happy not playing," he told the Fulham Chronicle.

"I feel fit and if I get a chance I'm ready. If not, then we'll look somewhere else to see if I can get a move.

"I'll remain professional, whether I'm going to leave or not. I always give 100 per cent in training and if I play, the gaffer knows that.

"I'll work hard until January and see what happens. If it doesn't happen, then I'll work hard until May.

"I'm never going to be a player who moans. I want to keep fit, work hard every day and be ready if I'm needed. If not, I will look elsewhere."
