Richarlison is delighted to be already off the mark at Everton.
The winger scored twice past Wolves on his debut last weekend following a £35m summer switch from Watford, where he also worked with the Portuguese manager.
“My relationship with the coach is very important," Richarlison told the club website. “He gives me a lot of freedom on the pitch. I know I have my responsibilities, but I also know what I do best.
“I know I have the confidence of the coach.
“I am very happy to score twice. It is the first time in my career that I have received the man of the match award. I am very happy for my teammates as well that we could take a point back to Liverpool.
“When I came to Everton I said that I will give everything on the pitch for this shirt. That is what I am going to do.
“Scoring two goals was important in the first game but I have to thank my teammates. They helped me to do this."
