West Ham have failed with a bumper bid for Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Anderson is currently being valued at €50m (£43m), and the Serie A outfit are refusing to budge on the price.
This means West Ham's opening offer of €38m (£33m) has been rejected.
Another reason Lazio are demanding such a high fee for the attacker is because Brazilian club Santos will receive 25 per cent of any transfer fee recouped for the player.
Anderson fell out with Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi during the early stages of the season.
But the pair soon settled their differences, and the 23-year-old returned to the first team after the winter break.
