Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is eager for a reunion with Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw.

United remain keen on Spurs defender Danny Rose.

And the Manchester Evening News says Shaw's situation could prompt United to explore a possible deal with Tottenham for Rose next year.

United are monitoring Rose - who made his comeback from a nine-month lay-off in Spurs' Tuesday night draw with Real Madrid - with a view to making a bid next year.

Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino remains in touch with Shaw - who has made one substitute appearance for United this season - and would be open to reuniting with him in London. Shaw, 22, failed to make the bench again against Benfica.
