Tottenham pulled out of a deal for Celtic whiz Moussa Dembele over a failed medical, it has been revealed.
Get West London reports a £6 million deal to take the outstanding Frenchman from Fulham to White Hart Lane last January broke down AFTER terms had been agreed.
At the time the Spurs move was said to have collapsed when the Craven Cottage outfit insisted he stay on loan with them for the rest of the 2015/16 season.
The 20-year-old has been in stunning form – netting 27 goals in all competitions – since Celtic took advantage of cross-border rules to seal the £500,000 switch.
His transfer value has rocketed, with the France U-21 star now a £40 million target for Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
