Maurizio Sarri wants three of his Napoli players to follow him to Chelsea.
Axed as coach by Napoli this week, Sarri is being linked with Antonio Conte's job at Chelsea.
Sky Italia says Sarri's entourage held a seven-hour meeting with Chelsea today, working out the basics of a two-year deal.
This would include paying the €8m release clause in Sarri's contract, which is still necessary, despite Napoli firing him yesterday to make way for Carlo Ancelotti.
Sarri has requested three members of the Napoli squad who all have release clauses in their Napoli deals.
They are defender Raul Albiol, full-back Elseid Hysaj and Poland international midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
