REVEALED: Norwich players unaware Dier jumped into stands

Norwich City midfielder Alexander Tettey wasn't aware of Eric Dier's decision to jump into the stands until well after their FA Cup win at Tottenham on Wednesday night.

Dier, after the penalty shootout, entered the stands to confront a fan taunting his brother.

Tettey was presented a video of the incident in the mixed zone afterwards and was taken aback.

He told VG: "As a player, we are instructed not to react that way, but this is family talk. I don't know what the spectator said, I don't know how old the brother is, but it must have been something quite serious.

"But we are not even allowed to go up in the stands after matches. It is not my place to comment on this, but we are obliged to remain calm at all times no matter what anyone could have said."
