AS Monaco defender Djibril Sidibé has resisted offers to return to England this month.

The wing-back spent last season on-loan at Everton and there has been talk of him being keen to return to England in January.

However, Maxifoot says Sidibe has resisted approaches from two of Everton's Premier League rivals.

Both Crystal Palace and Newcastle United have sought to bring Sidibe back to England, but he has rejected both approaches.

This season, Sidibé has played 11 matches for AS Monaco and has one assists.
