REVEALED: Massive Chelsea payoff due Potter

Chelsea's financial commitment to paying off coaches continues with Graham Potter.

The Blues have fired the English coach after less than a year in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Potter will be paid £13 million in compensation, while his staff will also receive severances.

When taking into account the money Chelsea spent to hire Potter, including a Premier League record £22 million to Brighton to take him out of his contract, the endeavor was a huge waste of funds.

The Blues have also spent £550 million on new players since Todd Boehly became co-owner.

The next Chelsea boss, per The Mail, will have to ensure they can make it work with the players at their disposal.

While the Blues will make signings, most incomings will have to be offset by sales.
