Manchester United are attempting to include Phil Jones in their offer for West Ham defender Issa Diop.

The Sun says Jones faces being frozen out of United after being offered to West Ham as part of their bid to sign Diop.

United have targeted the French defender as part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's rebuilding plans at Old Trafford this summer and offered £45million plus a player to the Hammers.

That player was centre-back Jones - who only signed a new contract at United in February.

West Ham immediately rejected the offer, partly because they had no intention of selling Diop and also because they have no interest in taking Jones.
