Manchester United have met with Napoli defender Kim Min-jae, it has been revealed.

United have taken a step closer to signing him by holding a meeting with his representatives.

Journalist Antonio Corrado recently told Fuorigioco on Tele A that there was a meeting between Kim and an unnamed foreign club who spoke in English at the Paradiso Hotel in Naples back in November, before reports began linking the Red Devils with a move for the South Korean international.

La Gazzetta dello Sport added that “the club in question was Manchester United".

Kim has since stated he is fed-up with the transfer rumours swirling around him.
