REVEALED: Five Real Madrid players unhappy with Mbappe bid

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has spoken to locker room heavyweights concerned about the arrival of Kylian Mbappe.

Perez is convinced a deal is close for the teenage striker, with Monaco now prepared to sell.

A world record fee of €160m has been mentioned for Mbappe, with developments concerning senior Real players.

Real captain Sergio Ramos has fielded opinions from the likes of Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema about the prospect of Mbappe joining them.

The biggest concern raised is the wage demands of Mbappe, with reports suggesting the teen would arrive at Real on a similar salary to the likes of Kroos and Benzema.

However, Perez has made it clear to Ramos that this won't be the case, citing the example of James Rodriguez, reports Diario Gol. James joined Real for €80m, but was also one of the lesser paid players on staff, earning €6m-a-year.
