The former Arsenal star arrived in Turkey to sign a short term contract.

The German has taken a huge pay cut on his £350,000-a-week contract with Arsenal to complete the move.

But he did agree to a departure package to the tune of £7 million with the Gunners, and will be paid a £4.5 million signing bonus by Fener.

Ozil tweeted the number 67 along with a heart emoji on his official Twitter account.

He may be able to grab the no.10 shirt at the Turkish giants next season, when striker Mbwana Samatta's loan spell expires.
