Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy was furious after their thrashing by Crystal Palace.

The Daily Mail says Vardy punched a door in anger following Leicester's 4-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.

The 32-year-old was said to be exasperated at the way Leicester crumbled to the heavy loss at the King Power Stadium and struck a door with such force he has been left with bruising.

There were initial fears he may have broken bones in the act but that is not the case.

Vardy will be fit for Tuesday's game against Brighton, with Leicester aiming to record a first win since New Year's Day.
