New Manchester City assistant manager Juanma Lillo's deal is tied to Pep Guardiola's.
Guardiola has brought Lillo to City to replace Mikel Arteta, who left his No2 position to take charge of Arsenal.
Marca says Lillo has penned a one-year contract to 2021 - which is when Guardiola's current deal also expires.
Former Real Betis coach Lillo will take on a major role with City, running the majority of training sessions and lifting the week-to-week pressure Guardiola has been carrying this season.
Upon his appointment, Lillo stated: "I am delighted to join the City technical team. My relationship with Pep comes from many years ago and I am very happy to join him as part of this magnificent team.
"City has achieved many successes in the last years performing a very attractive football at the height of what is expected of this club and its coach."
