Premier League giants Liverpool will earn just £100,000 in prize money from the Carabao Cup final.

The Reds beat Chelsea after extra time to secure the trophy for manager Jurgen Klopp.

However, the League Cup has a limited prize money pool, with losing finalists Chelsea only getting £50,000.

Fulham and Middlesbrough, who lost in the semi finals, will be receiving £25,000 each.

In contrast, the FA Cup has a prize money pool of up to £4 million, with all third round winners earning £105,000.

Leagues such as the Premier League have much higher figures, topping at £100 million or more.
