Rennes ace Paul-Georges Ntep has denied reports of visiting Liverpool last week.

Ntep has rubbished claims that he has travelled to Liverpool on two occasions this year ahead of a summer switch.

The 22-year-old Rennes forward is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in French football and insists he is happy where he is.

"I did not go to Liverpool last week, that's completely false," he told J+1. "I have a contract until 2017.

"Stade Rennais gave me my first professional contract and, for now, I am very well here."
