Rennes president Letang enters talks with Arsenal for Koscielny

Rennes president Olivier Letang has entered talks with Arsenal for Laurent Koscielny.

The Frenchman has been banished to train with the kids after refusing to travel to the US with the rest of the squad earlier this month.

BBC Sport says an exit now looks inevitable with technical director Edu and Letang meeting to thrash out a deal.

It's suggested Koscielny has no intention of turning out for Arsenal again.

The 33-year-old was club captain, but Unai Emery admitted he'll now need to mix things up.
