Off contract AC Milan striker Ronaldo is ready to soon resume playing.

"I want to return to playing and I have had contact with several clubs," Ronaldo, still recovering from knee surgery, told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"There are lots of projects but the priority is to get back to my best. I wouldn't be talking to you if I didn't think I could get back on the pitch.

"I have been an athlete for 15 or 16 years and it is only natural that I am out of shape after six months out of action.

"Now the most difficult part of my recovery has begun and that is getting fit again."
