Former Everton captain Peter Reid admits he's a big fan of Blues midfield schemer Mikel Arteta.

"The boy is a good footballer," Reid told evertonTV. "I have seen him a number of times and he is a joy to watch. Mikel is an exciting player who can create a goal as well as make one.

"There is a buzz around Goodison when he gets the ball.

"When you look at some of the Spanish players in the Premiership they have struggled but Arteta has taken everything in his stride and has done absolutely fantastic."
