Manchester United loanee Sergio Reguilon believes he is excelling on loan due to his strong mentality.
The Spaniard came into the club on a season long loan from Tottenham on deadline day in the summer transfer window.
Reguilon, who was recently out with injury, was signed to serve as cover for injured left back duo Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
Sitting down for a fan Q&A on MUTV, the 26-year-old stated about his good start to life at United: "I was ready, I was ready to be honest because I always say you have to work hard and keep your mind strong because in every moment in football is your opportunity.
"And, if you are not training well and ready in your mind, that opportunity can go out [the window]. For me, I am always focusing on football and when they give me the opportunity to play - I am ready.
"I think in the first game [vs Brighton and Hove Albion] I was with energy and I played with my head."
