Chelsea defeated Tottenham 2-1 at White Hart Lane in the first-leg of their FA Youth Cup semifinal.

Jody Morris's side controlled proceedings as headers from Reece James and Ike Ugbo gave the holders a two-goal lead in North London.

The hosts struck a late goal through Kazaiah Sterling that keeps their hopes alive ahead of the second leg this Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

Morris made three changes from the quarter-final win over Leicester City as Jamie Cumming, Tariq Uwakwe and Juan Castillo came into the side.
